Journal - What are your hobbies and extra curricular activities? Where do you spend your free time? Tell me three of your favorite things (movies, TV show, magazine, sport, color, etc.)
I do multiple things outside of school. From Marching Band to Martial Art's, I can be very busy person. I spend a good deal of time online, but unlike most peers, I don't go on Facebook or tweeter. I prefer gaming sites for the most part, most a mix of first-person shooter and strategy. I also like pitting my strength against real opponents to test myself. I also enjoy movies, video games, and reading, with those activities making up the remainder of my free time.

Journal - Tell me if you agree with this statement and then explain why or why not. "Images on the internet are 'free game' - if someone posted I should be able to use it."
Not in the least. Not all games on the internet are free in the first place, let alone . You have no idea what type of state they where in when said person posted that image. Even if it isn't something uber embarrassing, you should at least ask first, mostly because of copyright laws. Images are not always free, right, appropriate, or funny, no matter what could be said. So, please, be nice to others on the internet, and respect the persons wishes.

Journal - What is the importance of online safety and protecting your information? What do you do to protect yourself online? Share an experience you or someone you know has had with online safety.
Safety. In an age like today, nothing is more important than online safety. Anti-virus software, up to date security system, and lets not forget the most important thing, common sense. On sites like facebook, please wait to post pictures from vacation, never post anything on one. Keep your whits about you. On sites like roblox, or proboards, unless you know the person in real life, don't give away any information. E-mail, phone, name, none of it. Trust no one about anything involving your life. You could never know who is watching. Avoid programs that haven't been trusted. Even if they are, scan them just to be safe. You never know what type of virus could be trying to hitch a ride into your computer, and take important information. Last of all, avoid unknown sites, for who knows what type of virus could be hiding within the site.

Tell me what you know about Web 2.0. List example Web 2.0 sites. Are you on any sites that let you “post” information? What are those sites? How often do you use them? What do you post on them?
Web 2.0 is one of the most advanced and complex form of the web. Web 2.0 sites are sites that allow you you to post information. Facebook is the most popular web 2.0 site know, with a massive amount of accounts on the site. Twitter, Myspace, Youtube and many others sites are Web 2.0 sites. Being able to post information is a great way to keep up with friends in other countries or parts of the world. Despite my very short list, many, if not all sites have some elements of Web 2.0, mostly for making accounts. Other, lesser known sites are Roblox, Deviantart, Proboards, and other sites are used not just for keeping up with friends, but making new ones in a more contained environment. Proboards is used as a mostly roleplay site, making a fun and child friendly setting.
Depending on what site I am on, actuality influences what I post. On Roblox, I'm a general and a leader, working to bring the downfall of the Vaktovian Empire. On Deviantart, I post pictures made on the computer, and complement others work. On mtg-roleplay.proaboards.com I roleplay as Tenic Sharn and co. Working with other planeswalkers to save the multiverse from destruction. I get on as often as I can, but not as often as I like.

Journal - After watching the short clip of Ashton Kutcher's acceptance speech what did you take away from his advice? What does this quote mean to you -"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use.
Some things are correct about his speech, but I don't full trust what is the motivation for him saying it. Despite that, it isn't how the world works. It's how it should work, but doesn't, nor will it. Many people with big jobs and leaders of corporations, are only out for their own gain. They only care about how much money they bring in. Some may be the exception to the rule, but in general, they cling to their money, and don't like giving it up. They act like they are better than the rest of us, and us their money to shape something around them. They use their money to make more, buying new businesses, buying out others, just because they want to be able to have no computation for their stores. They use the radio and T.V. to surround us with what they want us to buy from them. Despite that the only reason they can make money is us. The middle class, which they want to see fail, they don't pay taxes like rest of us, they sue the government so they don't pay. If one where to stop buy their proucdts, tdhen they would loss money. If the whole world did, they wouldn't have any businesses. And please, don't get me started on America's politician's.
